As you can see, Pia has the most contagious smile so it's perfect that she chose a bold, red lip to show it off! The theme for their wedding was old Hollywood glam and it turned out so beautiful! Fun fact: Pia had never worn a red lip in her life, but decided to do it for her wedding day!! Love bold girls!  She rocked it!

I was so happy when I finally had the chance to meet Lauren at our  trial appointment! We had traded several emails and were trying to find a time to meet since I was 9 months pregnant and she lives in St. Louis! She was finally able to make it to San Diego before her wedding & everything came together including her gorgeous wedding look that was so glamorous! She chose a red lip and an old Hollywood hair style that couldn't have been more perfectly suited for her. She had a vision and it came together beautifully. Spanish Wedding Inspiration

I was contacted by a local wedding planner to come up with several wardrobe/hair/makeup looks for this amazing Spanish-inspired bridal shoot that was held at The Darlington House in La Jolla. Whenever there is a challenge thrown my way I dive right in and love every moment of the creative process. There were 3 different looks that I wanted to capture in this photo shoot. All of the looks had a romantic, and innocent quality. Soft colors, lace, intricate details all felt timeless and elegant. It was such a great experience working with some of the best wedding vendors in San Diego and also having this photo shoot featured on one of my favorite wedding blogs, 100 Layer Cake. Thorne Artistry had the chance to work with Pacific San Diego Magazine for the December issue that hit newsstands last week! We had an exciting day with professional surfer, Anastasia Ashley, who was so much fun to work with! We took a limo bus all over San Diego and hit some surfing hot spots & you could tell she was in her element! It was amazing to see this natural surf girl channel her inner glam!
